REASON 21 TO VISIT #ULTIMATEDINOS: MADE IN CANADA!

Yes, these dinosaurs are from the south. Yes, these dinosaurs have been discovered by people from all over the world. Yes, this dinosaur exhibit is sure to thrill anyone who enters. But this exhibit was also built and designed by Canadians  And considering our country’s rich history with dinosaurs (see Drumheller, Alberta) it makes a lot of sense!

Check out all these great Canadian people and groups below who helped build this great exhibit, and also ignite your patriotic pride!

  • The @ROMPalaeo department has to be one of the best in the world. Led by David Evans, @ROMPalaeo made Ultimate Dinosaurs: Giants of Gondwana, what I believe to be, the best dinosaur exhibit ever.
  • Make sure to catch up on my big post about why David Evans is awesome.
  • Matthew Vavrek is also a true dude for the remarkable work he put in on the exhibit, specifically in terms of how these incredible beasts became the way they did.
  • We also had the best organization in the WORLD create and install the dinosaurs on display. Research Casting International are amazing. Led by Peter May, this crew is simply the best. They casually install dinosaurs in a day. In fact the Futalognkosaurus in our main entrance was installed OVER NIGHT. Check out some sweet behind the scenes photos above! BTW, they worked on Jurassic Park too!
  • Check out this great article by the Torontoist, full of photos from Research Casting’s head quarters!
  • There’s also obviously Julius Csotonyi who did all the art. You can see my big post about him here!

Make sure to check out the rest of our 28 Reasons to Visit #ultimatedinos! The greatest dinosaur exhibit ever shown (at least in my personal opinion) closes March 17th. More info here!
